The Broadbent family was my very last Family session of 2019! We got to do their photo session at Wild Hearts Farm in the pouring rain. I mean, it is Washington, what else would the weather be doing? Right?
Ashley and I were roommates in college and she is one of my favorite people still. She is so sweet and kind and has the most beautiful children. And her entire family is that way too. So kind and fun to be around. When Ashley reached out to me about doing family pictures I was ecstatic. We live in the same state but still 3 hours away so it’s been ages since we’ve seen one another. Her whole family was going to be in town for the holidays and they wanted to get some family photos done since they’d all be together. We had literally one day between when I got home from my holiday trip and when her family members started to head home across the country. So we made it work!
Despite the downpour we braved, I had so much fun capturing these beautiful grandchildren and their parents and grandparents. Wild Hearts Farm is a dream location and I absolutely cannot wait to shoot there again! If you need a place to shoot, indoor or out, definitely check them out.
We started in the Glass house that is completely adorable with all the vintage windows lining the walls and the gorgeous chandelier hanging from above. Then we decided to make a run for it and headed to the big white barn where we they had to huddle close to stay warm and dry. It was a little chaotic but we made the best of it and got some really fun images that I hope this lovely family will cherish.
